The European Union Youth Orchestra announced on 09/03/2020 the cancellation of its forthcoming Italian residency including its extensive Ferrara Orchestra in Città! community programme and concerts in Ferrara and Pavia planned for 20 March – 11 April, as a result of health reasons related to the coronavirus COVID-19. The EUYO is deeply sorry to have to cancel this activity but has been obliged to do so as the current situation in Italy has rendered the project unsafe and without authority to take place.
