On September 28 in Venice, EUYO musicians and Executive & Artistic Director Marshall Marcus will take part in the European Cultural Heritage Summit's "Reimagining the Anthropocene" Forum. This hybrid event culture and heritage's role in climate action.
Welcome to 2023's summer tour: conductors Sir Antonio Pappano and Manfred Honeck, soloists Julia Fischer, Benjamin Grosvenor and Martin James Bartlett… and 111 musicians from 27 countries performing to some 10,000 seats, while reaching thousands more through recordings, broadcasts, and social media.
In celebration of Europe Day, EUYO alumni were invited to Myanmar but its Delegation of the European Union. A quintet of musicians taught and performed with the Orchestra for Myanmar, the New Children's Choir and the Singers from Mr Roger's Orphanage, Kachin Baptist Church, The Strand Singers, and The International School Yangon.
