In futures thinking, there is broad and deep consensus that democracy and sustainability are robustly linked. One such example is Earth4All’s transformational economics, driving greater global equality and refigured food and energy systems.

Alongside economic modelling, governance, and environmental science’s prominence in thought leadership for people and planet, the cultural sector should also have a voice. Inspired by Earth4All and with twin themes of democracy and sustainability, EUYO’s 2023 spring tour sought to raise awareness of culture’s – specifically, music’s – powerful, unique contributions to the conversation.
