The EUYO holds live auditions in every EU country, thanks to a fantastic network of national partners. Most of these 27 countries have closing dates for applications at the end of September, meaning the critical period to log on to our audition pages is…now!

Over at EUYO auditions, you’ll find an audition selector tool which will lead you straight to the application information you need for your instrument and location. Some countries (Germany, for example) hold a video first round; others (like Romania) offer a choice of audition venues. In all cases, you’ll find the contact details for your National Partner, who will be happy to answer any questions you may have.

You’ll also find various resources we have compiled to help you prepare for your EUYO audition: FAQs, videos, and downloads. And EUYO auditions have two golden rules:

Golden rule no. 1: if you meet the criteria, but you’re not sure whether or not you should apply – apply!

Golden rule no. 2: if you’ve auditioned in the past but not yet been awarded a place – audition again! Many highly successful EUYO musicians and alumni auditioned multiple times before joining the Orchestra. Every audition you do will provide you with invaluable experience and steady your nerves for the ones to come. In the music profession in general, the audition process is no different, and the competition is no less intense. So keep coming back, again and again; it could be you.
