Applications for the 2026 Orchestra are now open, with the main audition period in most countries running from September – December 2025.

At the EUYO, about 3000 candidates audition every year for approximately 120 places. It’s very important to us that you have a good experience, where you can give the best of yourself and – if you aren’t successful the first time – feel comfortable and encouraged to reapply. Orchestral auditions in general are usually highly competitive, and success is often achieved by being resilient enough to keep coming back to audition.
