Our annual Model Sharing Symposium took place throughout the week of 13-17 October, free-of-charge and online for all our fellow youth ensemble music managers. Thank you to our inspiring guest speakers Hugo Ticciati, Rhys Nugent, Nikoletta Polydorou and Raluca Matei – and to everybody who joined the conversations!

Culture budgets being under pressure everywhere, we looked at at EU strategic priorities and funding frameworks for culture, and also how to ace your EU funding application. We also continued last year’s focus on environmental sustainability, this time moving to the nuts and bolts of successful implementation and building a handbook of good practice. And, we began and ended with two key topics that underpin everything we all do: inspiring and motivating young musicians, and supporting them in their wellbeing and mental health.
