Between 13 April – 13 October 2025, millions from around the world are gathering at Expo 2025 Osaka to explore how nations and regions are addressing the defining global challenges of our time. From questions of sustainability and connectivity to inclusion and security, the Expo’s headline theme is Designing Future Society For Our Lives, and has twin goals: achieving Japan’s National Strategy 5.0, and contributing to the Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations.

At the Expo, we were proud to play for Europe. The European Union’s space showcases Europe’s commitment to global collaboration, innovation, and cultural exchange – an inspiring setting for the Orchestra to represent the creative voice of Europe’s youth. The EU Pavilion further reflects the sustainability, beauty, and inclusion underpinning the New European Bauhaus, inspiration in turn for our Café Bauhaus Awards.
