9-11.06. | Italy Sounds Classic

Italy Sounds Classic is a three-day event of concerts, conferences, workshops and meetings aimed at young musicians and professionals in the world of classical music, taking place from Thursday 9 to Saturday 11 June at the Volvo Congress Center in Piazza Costituzione in Bologna, Italy.

On Friday 10 June at 14.00, there's a workshop on "how to prepare for an audition" - a very important theme for young musicians - with EUYO Rehearsal Director Peter Stark, who spoke on this theme already on the EUYO YouTube channel here, in a series dedicated to audition tips.

The same day at 21.00, a brass and percussion ensemble of the EUYO will perform on stage in the Europa Auditorium, with a concert that ranges from the driving rhythmic minimalism of Steve Reich to the grand triumphal sounds of Verdi - an evening of music that's free and open to everyone, see the full programme below.

Lastly, on Saturday 11 June at 10.00, the EUYO National Partner for Italy Maria Gabriella Ceracchi, who is also head of the Italian radio RAI Radio3 Classica, will hold a session on the subject of music radio and the role of radio in spreading music nowadays.

Access to the events is free upon registration here.
